Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Our client requires an Acquisition Safety and Environmental Engineer for an initial 8-month contract, on a hybrid basis. Candidates will need an active SC Security Clearance.
Working in the Safety and Environmental delivery team, our client is looking for someone who has previously worked in Defence Land domain, advising on the safety programme to produce safety artefacts to time and quality requirements.
Essential Skills
- Practitioner level experience of DE&S safety management systems and processes (POSMS).
- Practitioner level experience of leading land safety management tasks.
- Practitioner level experience (Plan creation and update) of:
- Safety and Environmental Management Plans.
- Safety Case / Safety Case Report.
- Hazard Logs
- Hazard identification and assessment.
- Operation of safety review meetings.
- Defence Safety Management and Environmental Protection Planning.
- Defence Regulations (DLSR).
Desirable Skills
- Working in Defence Land
- eCassandra.
- Fault and Event Tree (FTA / ETA).
- BowTie assessment.
- Safety arguments (CAE / GSN).
- Knowledge of applicable legislation, regulation and standards and defence policy.
