Our client, a global leader for Remote Tower and Digital Airport solutions are currently recruiting for a Technical Project Manager who is ready to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. It is a high-energy position which requires a winning can-do attitude and will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle and deploy project management best practices from concept to close. The candidate is expected to manage multiple projects concurrently in diverse global markets and act in a leadership capacity to mentor the project team.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects related to initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects.
- Ability to utilise both waterfall and agile project methodology.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and manage customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Write and deliver project documentation in compliance with QA processes.
- Act as a key escalation point for problem-solving and facilitate alignment of project resources across functional departments.
- Act as a change agent in continuous improvement initiatives and the development of formal methodologies.
- Complete project reviews and support the development and reporting of key performance metrics for senior management.
Qualifications
- PMP or Prince2 Certification with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Engineering degree and/or technical background delivering computer-based solutions.
- Familiarity with guidelines and compliance requirements for software safety assurance in an Air Traffic Management Systems (e.g., EUROCAE ED 153, EUROCAE ED 109A).
- Knowledge and experience of Quality Assurance Processes (ISO 9001:2015 or similar)
- Ability to lead teams and learn new technologies.
- Organisation skills, excellent time management and scheduling.
- Ability to Travel Internationally – up to 25% of the time.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- General understanding of software production methodology.
